Only one close relative of Anne Frank is still alive - her first cousin and close friend Buddy Elias, now 86. In 2001, after his mother’s passing, Buddy discovered a remarkable cache of 6,000 never-before-seen photos, correspondence and other Frank family keepsakes that had been stored in her dusty attic. Buddy reminisces about his young cousin Anne and offers a new window into the Frank family – their life before the Holocaust, their joyful reunion with Otto Frank and the ensuing, tragic discovery that his wife and two daughters had died in concentration camps.
